I am one who loves using frames so this shot really does appeal to me. One wonders if the tree has just been cut or it is another tree entirely. I am going with the second choice. I like the contrast between the stump and the tree. It actually adds texture to the shot. Such a nice piece of work today. genie

As per Dragonstar's comment, the pine seems to be guarding the tree stump! Quite symbolic!
